I wonder why Harriet and Maia didn't play together last week. Harriet would have got into singles qualifying if she had entered.

QF:- Maia Lumsden / Harriet Dart (GBR/GBR) CR149 (58+91) [4] def Nikola Bartunkova / Dominika Salkova (CZE/CZE) CR1621 (1473 + 148) walkover

*****

SF: Maia Lumsden / Harriet Dart (GBR/GBR) CR149 (58+91) [4] v Alena Kovackova/Jana Kovackova (CZE/CZE) CR513 (255+258) (18yo/JR10+16yo/JR3) [WC]

Looks like a tough one against the two talented teenagers. Jana won the Wimbledon girls doubles and Roland Garros (both with Katerina Zajickova), and playing together they won the Australian doubles..

3 main tour finals for Maia (2 with Harriet) in just a few weeks, thats a really good spell. Good luck in the final and to add to the Nottingham title!

Anyone know what the suspension was for midway through the second set? Appears as though Harriet and Maia were dominant from that point on

Yes, very good to see.

Maia showing as live ranked 55 ( with just one player that can overtake her ) so it appears that she will take out her 2024 CH 57.

Harriet showing as live ranked 80 ( CH 59 from 2024 ) - not bad when singles is her main focus. Maybe Maia is working on her

Presumably they would get into the USO as a pair if they choose to enter?

I wasn't watching, but the main court was also suspended so I suspect it was just a passing shower

Yes, looking good. I think if you have a CR better than 140 you are well placed for Slams. Only Harriet has counting points due off before the US Open ( net 33 points ). I never know when the cut-off is for doubles

I haven't got a saved copy of last year's USO entry list. As a guide, the Roland Garros initial cut-off this year was a CR of 156, and Wimbledon ended up at 142 so they should make it.

Edit:- As Indi already posted smile
