Just from the scoreline thats a really weird one, I wonder if Eliz had an injury or was struggling in the heat after her efforts last week

Is this Eva's second counter after reaching the QFs last week?

She does also have a one point counter from a Nottingham W50 MD WC R1 defeat last July.

The trouble is she is due to drop that point on 20/07, the same date as points from here will add in.

So she will still not have the 3 counters that give players a WTA ranking.

Actually her third counter, but her 1 point from Nottingham last year drops off on 20/07

Edit:- Beaten by Indi again ! She would have been around WR1350

Eva and Yasmin met last week in the QF with Yasmin winning 2 & 6(3), see if Eva can push her even further this week.

Thank you TA and Indi, could she get into the W50 in Nottingham next week and where would she need to reach to get the ranking for good?

Eva is currently 13 alt for Nottingham, and there are 9 other Brits in the alts before her. So it looks as though it will depend on who gets the wildcards as I would expect some of those 9 to get QWC's

A win in qualifying is worth one point, so that would give her her third counter

Really disappointing loss for Eva, she served for the first set and was a break up in the second at 4-2

Eva only managed to take 4 out of 15 break points, whilst Yasmin took 5 out of 6. So competed well, but not when it mattered.

Eva has made it up to 9th alt and is brit 7 in the alternates list so she could be in line for a  qualifying wildcard, when are they likely to be announced?

The LTA rarely announce WCs for ITFs. The first we'll know is when the draw is available. If Eva has asked for a wildcard I would be surprised if she doesn't at least have a qualifying WC. She does a QWC in to one of the Aldershot/Roehampton W35s from being runner-up at the British Tour West Worthing last month.
