This event is the single event with the most British wins in main draw and qualies this grass season. It's 22 equals Ilkley but there is at least one more win guaranteed here.

As suspected, Clem is edging things against Ali Gray so far. Leads 7-5, 3-1, but Ali's had his chances, just hasn't been able to convert

Henry broke again, but has struggled on serve, having to save breakpoints in both his subsequent service games. Nevertheless he is one game away at 5-3*

Despite double-faulting on first matchpoint got most of his first serves in and avoided further peril

Final: (4) Henry Searle WR 273 defeated (1) Clément Chidekh (FRA) WR 205 6-4 6-4  smile

Super

Henry now showing as live ranked 214, GB #11, and under 21 in the world #13.

With only 4 ( net 1 ) points then to drop by what should be the US Open qualifying list relevant ranking date list, 03/08, he has effectively sealed being on that list

With his Dublin 75 challenger title in June, that's 2 succesive challenger titles and 10 challenger match wins in a row either side of Wimbledon, in the process rising from WR 354 to now that 214.

Where will he play next I wonder? I can't see him down for anything in the near future (unless I am not looking properly) I'm wondering if he'll go for qualifying in some of the bigger pre USO tournaments......... receive a wildcard from somewhere, or what do other's think/know?
