I would strongly advice anyone who is of a betting nature never to put money on an Radacanu Draper mix doubles partnership

Katie S posting loads of practice photos on Insta, looks fit and ready to go. Could be our best player in the womens draw this year if Emma falls by the wayside?.

Would be wonderful to see her get to R3 for the first time although that would mean potentially mean beating a very in form Madison Keys

According to a tweet from the Telegraph yesterday evening Emma will make one last effort at a practice this morning at 11am and then decide.

With heavy taping on her ankle I can't see her making it fully fit and quite possibly not at all.

She gets no luck with injuries/illness it seems. What is her current fitness set up though? I think she really needs to get a decent fitness coach and nutritionist in her team and analyse how she trains what she eats etc. Maybe she already has this but if so it isn't working. I'm really starting to get Laura Robson vibes with Emma. A good player who could have had a good career but basically thwarted because their body wasn't/isn't up to it.

Our ladies have some tough draws so good luck to them all. Feel like the 2 Katies have the best chance of doing well.

Tennis forum tells me that the first four lucky losers are Volynets, Semenistaja, Kawa and Sasnovich, but not necessarily in that order.
As PaulM said, Ostapenko is the next in line for a seeding and would replace Emma. She did retire from her SF in Eastbourne, but as it was officially heat-related illness I would expect her to play.

Thanks for the info.

Annoying, for me anyway, that I cannot watch both, on i-player; can maybe switch between.

It might be good for the players to know, when their matches will start, subject to weather delays.

If you can access the BBC sport website, they usually have all courts available, so you could have 2 (or more) windows open at once!
