Most of the time we watch via I-player just for that reason (on TV via Amazon Firestick !). Got rather tired of Tracy Austin.

Yes, I know it's all available there (unless you don't have good enough broadbandm like me) and I wasn't particularly interested in today's match. I just find it odd that what is ostensibly the biggest match being played between 1.30 and 2.00 is completely ignored in the mainstream coverage, not even the score, until the news and weather is finished, when they still have 2 channels available.

Well thank goodness the ladies singles final is proving to be a great spectacle thanks to these two Czech players. So much better than last year!

 Good stuff.

The authorities may be hoping that the men's final isn't similarly competitive and last a fair bit over 5 hours ( Djokovic vs Felix AA was 5 hours 15 mins this year ) or they could be closing the roof which would be farcical.

So emotional those speeches especially Noskova blowing her mum a kiss in heaven. Tissues needed all round.

It really picked up and I was willing Muchova to win, but at least she made a fight of it. I don't remember seeing such emotional interviews before by both players.

Those with tickets for today have been treated, a British winner in the mens doubles and then a great womens singles final with two likeable competitors

Super stuff all round. Noskova won the Berlin 500 a couple of weeks before Wimbledon, but this is something else !!

Well hopefully if it happens once they're reconsider the later start time, which I understand makes it the last match, but also gives this scenario. I don't see why they can't start the dubs final earlier instead.

Indeed. There seems to be some sacred necessity for Centre to not start before 1.30 pm
