Why do they put all of Novaks matches on Centre (I think) whilst Sinner plays on centre and one?

To be fair, today his opponent makes it a more interesting match for me.

C'mon Felix!!  Seems to have crept up to WR 4 without me really noticing, though tbf I guess at the head of a bit of queue miles behind the top 3.

Fair enough, having watched the first couple of sets I'm thoroughly bored and have switched off. I hadn't watched anything other than highlights of Felix and hadn't realized what a serve bot he is. Nojo not playing that well either, so pretty boring tennis.

Roll on tomorrow..

Mr Sinner will likely be on Center when he has twenty more Grand Slam titles.

I dont agree!  The scheduling should make it fair for all players,  Sinner is no 1 at the moment and so should have some advantages although Im sure hed never complain.  He is just always so unassuming.

Their job is not to even it out.

Yes, I think Sinner is worth having Centre Court outings, and he has had 2 there and 2 on Court 1. I think that's fine, as to me is 4 Centre Court outings for Djokovic. As for today, when one would go on Centre and the other on Court 1, the Djokovic vs Felix match looked to me clearly the one to put on Centre, whatever one feels about him generally playing there. And if I was a Centre Court ticket holder I would have expected and wanted that match.

Epic - amazing win for Djoko, 5 hours 15 mins. That is something special. I hope he finds a way to beat sinner in the semis. He probably wont, but you never know.

I was rooting for Felix! Never mind. Although Novak isnt my favourite  player, you have to appreciate how he manages to keep so fit and healthy given his age and his long tennis career.

Yes, I'm no fan of Djoko's beliefs, quite the opposite

But I have huge admiration for his tennis

And that MTB was SO classy - just 100% zoned in, intense focus and effort

Felix blinked and Novak didnt

Its weird isnt it, and Im the same, whenever we praise Djokos tennis we all feel the need to say we dont like him or his beliefs etc! I do it as well. I guess we shouldnt have to! Why dont we all not and then those who do support him can say if they do!? It would be a lot less typing across the board!

lol.

I kinda said I was supporting the old guard (to my surprise), but there was so much negativity towards him and Serena that I was scared to post anything.

It's not that I particularly like them as people or players, it's more that their tenacity and in Nojo's case commitment to be fit when it's so much harder at his age. Maybe something about the familiar faces too and Stan the Man's last hurrah. Maybe as I'm getting older too, some inspiration to be able to be able to do stuff that I'm not supposed to at my age!

And Nojo did play well in the end last night, and I would like him to win and have his last hurrah!
