Dani loses  6-2 2-6 4-6, just struggled on serve in the latter half

Esther wins 6-1 3-6 7-5 and rather fittingly based on the pattern of the match Uchijima served a double fault on match point

Huge win for Esther (7-5 in the third).

Shame for Dani but a really good effort.

Esthers match was a hot mess and her forehand is an interesting shot. But I genuinely enjoyed every second of watching that hahahaha. Good for her!

Wow, super poor from Uchijima but we'll take it. Huge for Esther's ranking and prize money!

Very pleased for Esther! However, with that forehand I cant see her having any kind of pro career. Is it too late, at 24, to change things up? Maybe even a double handed forehand would be better as she seems to struggle with any kind of control on it.

Even the slice on that side looks pretty poor, so not even a random Tatjiana Maria or Niculescu type shot

Watched a little of Millie's match. Got the impression that she was struggling to stay in it.

Emerson Jones was impressive.

Did you see much of the second set of Millies? Looks like she fought back well from a break down but has just lost after serving for the second set at 5-4

Overall, Millie was well beaten
She was feeling the heat
But her forehand, as often, is a problem - tons go into the net 12 inches low
Coz she's a touch late, doesn't have time to.put any shape on it whatsoever and its too low just to fire it flat

She had a chance in the second but you always knew Lamens had it under control

No, didn't see any of the second set of Millie's match. Maddie was watching with her support team.

Just watched the second set of a cracking match won by Stefanini . Katy now on court.

Looking forward to hearing about Katy and Ella's performances, Katy takes the first set 6-1, really hope she maintains this

Extravagant service action by Sasnovich, but doesn't give any consistency. 6-1 to Katy.
