This bit doesn't sound right:

... the remaining 8 unseeded British players must be distributed across the remaining 127 open slots in the tournament draw

With 128 places in the draw, and 32 seeds, there are only 96 open slots for non-seeds.

 Yep, it is AI!

I suspect the answer that it is more like a 25-50% chance of an all British tie is probably more like it! Which is where Ian started, haha

Trust me to get involved !

On a fairly quick calc with Emma a seed then the other 8 players having in turns to avoid Emma plus each of the other non seeds, I make it that it was a 66.54% chance that they would all avoid each other. So a 33.46% of an all British match-up.

 Yeah, I think my AI sold a pup! Hence why I deleted it!!
