At Nottingham there were lots of experienced line judges hanging around and doing menial tasks like carrying towels and opening cans of balls. Hopefully it will be the same at Roehampton and they can be utilised for the job for which they are qualified-calling lines!

Give it a knotted handkerchief. That would have done for the lines folk in the past.

Prozorova is serving very, very well. With the heat this is like a baked hard court now. But Heather gets a few first serve returns into play to break, and then holds to love with an ace

5-7 4-3*

Which she does easily enough. Prozorova looks like she's suffering physically, moving very slowly in between points.

Prozorova 7-5 3-6 *0-0 Watson

Yeah doing a better job neutralising some of the power and making the extra shot that gets the error. Great play to get set point, a very soft second serve (a sort of classic Heather 'push') is driven long by Prozorova so we go three.

5-7 6-3 0-0*
