Last year the draw wasn't released until the Monday - the day before play. I probably won't be around until after 5pm to post it though.

Good to be prepared though Well done, the addict

The women are going to cook on Tuesday

And, based on the men's, the organisers like to keep the GB players for later in the day - more suspense, more spectators, whatever

 it's a very little hill biggrin

Though you're right, everything will be on 'go slow' mode smile

(apart from, hopefully, our women's serves !)

 True - it's only about 20 feet climb from the station to the NTC, but it feels a lot more.

I had a ticket for Tuesday, but have reluctantly decided the heat will be too much for me.
Eventually found how to get a refund.
Hopefully next year!

It's true that now all the matches are livestreamed, you could say it's not quite so important

Im going tomorrow and will see how it goes, how hot it is, transport, etc, etc, and then decide as to whether I go the other days

If as is rumoured the TBA MD WC is awaiting Serena's acceptance or otherwise, would she care to make a decision before qualifying begins.

If it's a no, someone else can take up that WC, and if that's one of the British Q WCs it could let in a replacement British Q WC.

Actually surely the AELTC can't leave it hanging, but need to announce an 8th MD WC or promote next in line before qualifying.

I will be there Monday and Tuesday, might get to meet some of you (sat with Indiana for Katie Swan's match last year). I'm planning to drive and get there early enough to park on residential roads - not sure how sensible that is...

I'm an antisocial person, and never meet up with people - I know it's not great, I'm sorry, but as explained ages ago, I tried it once, for a different forum, about 15 years ago, or more, and it was a bad idea
So, to all concerned, it's not at all personal, it's just me - have a great time, everybody !
