I felt quite optimistic when Paul won that second set...

The break definitely didn't help Paul. He was playing so well in the 2nd set.

Henry lost a very tight first set 7-6 (5), second set remains on serve with Henry 3-2* up having just saved five break points from 0-40 down - hopefully it can be a momentum changer!

Frustrating - Henry played a fine return game to break back when Gaubas served for the match at 6-5, only to undo his good work with several UEs and missed first serves in the tiebreak. Still good to land one win - the first of many in Slams I expect.

Henry was broken to go 6-5 down in the second set, recovered the break immediately and then came back from 5-1 down in the tie break. He saved two match points on the Gaubas serve from 3-6* only to lose the third one on his own serve at *5-6 down.

Looks like there were very fine margins between the two - tough loss for Henry but it feels like he has taken a big step forward in the last couple of weeks.

Yes, a very promising couple of weeks - he looks like he's definitely a 150-ish level player now

Which is a big jump up from being 350-450 for the past six months

Typical - all the matches I want to see (followed by Heather) and they are on at the same time! Early start.

I was initially thinking the same for folk. But tbf there are only 2 matches on each court and they have scheduled 2 British matches on Show Court 1.
