Into a final set, 6-4 6-7(4)

Just watched from during that 5-4 game.

Jan doesn't look tight to me, Felix has just played a bit better during this period.

I never bought that he might be tight losing in earlier rounds in recent weeks whe he hsd to win further matches. Some more excuse here with what winning this match could mean but I haven't seen it. And as I said, the MP was saved by a booming ace.

Felix had a cheeky wee grin on his face after winning the final point of the set with a nice wee drop shot while Jan had a minor slip on his baseline.

Felix is a good competitor, he was always going to work his way into this as the match went on

Cool, I haven't seen any of it at all so good if it is Felix making the running. And would be a massive win for Felix after getting an LL spot

So, if you are keeping up, Jan has gone to live ranked 100 !! And at least one Brit will enter the official top 100.

All that can stop Jan now is him not winning another match and either Toby or Jack PJ winning the title here, in which case it would be they that would be our new entrant into the top 100. Odds clearly against Jan being denied but possible.
.
If Jan wins another match and one of either Toby or JPJ wins the title, we will have 2 new entrants into the top 100.
