I like Andrew and John Lloyd so hopefully they will still be around in some capacity next year.
Jamie Murray has been boring me to sleep with is analsist and as for him being asked about the singles players by Clair B etc post match I feel he is out is depth probably because he has never been on a singles court with any player of that quality due to his doubles career. Maybe JM should stick to doubles.
I've been so glad that they haven't been on the matches I've been watching. Both make inane comments IMHO.
I'm not sure how about feel about the analysis thing, I mean it's what players/teams do nowadays to help them with their tactics, so I do find them interesting. I'm also not that fussed either way about Jamie presenting. I don't think it need to be a singles player. A bit like Claire taking over from Sue (although part of me does feel wrong that that role isn't being done by a tennis player), it kinda matters, it kinda doesn't.
Yes Claire has only ever rode a horse unlike the wonderful Sue and IMO opinion should not be in that position at all.
I know what you mean about inane comments, I remember Castle got into trouble some years back because he and a fellow commentator went on a pub chat style ramble and it got a lot of complaints. I guess I like his style though.
I'm just not impressed with many of them TBH, McEnroe is ok but a bit of a wind bag so I just hope the replacements are a bit more interesting!
I like Kyle commentating. No fussy bits just gets on with it!
Having watched Claire in the leadup to Arthur's match, I've changed my mind about having a none tennis player in her role.
She's been able to ask questions that a tennis player couldn't have without being disingenuous and looking very ignorant. It's one this to be fans (otherwise I'm guessing none of us would be on this board), but a lot of people only watch Wimbledon, and probably the latter stages at that, so it's probably appealing to a lot of them.
I agree Andrew Castle can sometimes go on some very weird tangents and distract from the tennis itself but I think he's doing a good job alongside Andre Agassi on this match, he's letting Andre share his wisdom and insight without interrupting

Im finding Andre a little soporific TBH.
Yes, a polite way of saying he's boring. Andre mumbles as well, I had to put the subtitles up to understand what he was saying.
