Simples!  biggrin  Henry coming good at just the right moment.    I think he deserves another one of these, too:

BOSH! Henry plants the most savage of uppercuts on those decrying his lack of progress in the senior game.

So pleased for H, turning a corner?

Yes, I think  he did the right thing going to all those 15/25/35K itfs and got that winning feeling again. Breezing through, like he did when he won Junior Wimbledon: Really happy for him.

Really super

That's going to be a huge jump for him (as someone posted above)

About WR 260 in live rankings

And thoroughly deserved

He's been a little ragged in some of his events up to now - playing brilliantly and then going a little AWOL and blasting everything out

But that's just a question of harnessing the talent (bit like Hannah really)

Go, Henry !

Great to see

Showing as live ranked 263, under 21 #16, GB #14

Could have been throwing his hat into the troubled Wimbledon MD WC waters if had been a week earlier.

I wouldn't have imagined anything like this a few months ago. And yes, I was one to decry his lack of progress. Well done, young man!

Looking at Henrys ranking points. Looks like he needs about 60 points to be in a position that would guarantee US Open qualifying. Hopefully Wimbledon qualifying can bring him some good fortune for that.

Could've been a fairytale ending to the week in Dublin, but sadly wasn't:

Final:  Jarno Jans & Niels Visker (NED/NED) CR 383 (193+190) defeated James Mackinlay & Mark Whitehouse CR 432 (213+219) by 4 & 4  cry

Thats more like it Henry! Timing wise, it would seem Dan has had a good influence on him! Hopefully he can take some confidence into Wimby Qs.
