BLSP with the score at 7-6(4) 5-5*.  Felix had gone two breaks down in that second set, but somehow fought his way back to all square.  Only trouble is, it will be bloody Bu (SE) or Virtanen in the next round is he does pull it off.

He was only one break down

But still did well to fight back - and save SPs

I've been at nottingham on and off since Saturday so here are some thoughts on the matches i saw at least some of:
QR1 jansen did well but just lost out in 3 sets to a much higher ranked opponent. Hurrien looked good in flashes but never seemed likely to win against a more consistant opponent. He didn't seem 100% well either...

Didn't see much of the men in QR2 but did enjoy watching mochizuki gonthrougy inn R1.

Today i saw a bit of jay from the adjacent court. He raced to 4-0 in the first set but then got pegged back so did well to turn it round and served it out well at the end. Billy played very well in the 3rd set to win his match. Then over to court 1 where felix had just won the 1st set. Gaston was looking comfortable to 3-0 in set 2 (including underarm drop shot serve) and felix managed to pull it back. Some good rallies although I'm not sure how they could see the ball in the last 2 games!

I watched all of Oli's match and he deserved the opening set as he was far more solid than the Frenchman, who made a lot of errors.
The second and third sets were totally different as the errors stopped and Oli couldnt counter.
Havent seen Oli before, but very strong defensively.

I watched Jay from 4-1 up and then he got broken twice.
However he maintained his composure, held his serve and cruised through the rest of the match against an error ridden opponent.

Finally Billy Harris put up an excellent performance against the big serving lad from HK. The final set was terrific.
Once he worked out how to return serve effectively, he was in control.
I saw 2 games of Felix Gill(it was late and i had a 2 hour drive) in which he got broken. Glad to see he got the break back.

Challengers with electronic line calling is a new one to me...
