Yeah I thought when Harriet broke that would turn the tide but she played a poor service game and Hannah just kept flowing

She's a great athlete

Not sure - she was always pretty tall, and worked hugely on her physique since going fulltime at NTC

But, yes, she's got a great build for tennis

Hannah's interview was very nice

And confirmed that her coach called her and dragged her out of bed at 5 am this morning to make the drive up to Nottingham, from London, as they'd learnt that she's got a play

Nobody's pretending that was Harriet at her best but today's all about Hannah. She will always remember this first senior win.

Still hope that she's going to proritise Wimbledon Girls - I think she would have a great chance of winning.

To be fair too, this is exactly the point made previously about the level of players

Harriet is a very fairly ranked 150

She works her points, is gritty, plays quite smart, but she's perfectly playable

Hannah has been playing top-100 players (or players like Krueger who are well inside the top-100 really)

(as have Mimi and Mika)

They need matches at this level (150-250) to get their practice and experience

Good match, I enjoyed that. Hannah now showing as WR410 on live rankings - a NCH. Some sites appear to be missed the 12 points for reaching the FQR.

Nice rankings rise but will she be bothered about improving her chances of finding a boyfriend? I'd say she was too busy with tennis at the moment wink
