Very impressive given Maddie seemed to play 80% of the match on one leg, she was notably hampered and for much of the first set barely moving.

I suspect they will now move the other semifinal as the men's matches are prolonged.

I'm guessing at least she wasn't doing too badly in the 2nd set. Well done to them.

That should hopefully be both pairs on the initial wildcard list next week. After a pretty horrible period where Freya and Eden were going backwards they've really trusted their work and partnership and now it's clicked wonderfully.

Yes, it's a funny ol' sport, said somebody, somewhere, sometime

At Roehampton, I was watching them having the devil of a job against American Allen and someone else.

It was only R2, I think. Eden and Freya were all over the place, won by the grace of God, 10-8, in the MTB - and SO easily could have lost

And then they went and won their other matches in MTBs, took the title, and really started a roll

A point or two difference in that match at Roehampton and I don't think any of the rest would have followed

Yes, CD - I was there too, and despite the first set bagel they weren't very impressive. (playing Leon and Allen).
