There's singles play on the outside courts now - two women's and two men's matches

That win puts Freya above Emily and Lissey. Been a very fruitful couple of weeks!

Eden made the final last year, so she has a lot of points to defend - she's down 10 on live rankings. Hopefully that will change tomorrow !

QF:- Emily Appleton (GBR) / Elena Pridankina (***) CR182 (108+74) [2] LOST TO Catherine Harrison (USA) / Alexandra Osborne (AUS) CR290 (147+143) (7)6-7 6-2 10-4

Emily's results haven't been as good as I would have expected recently. Made a couple of finals, but not getting the results at bigger tournaments.

Wonder who she'll try to play Wimbledon with. Heather?

There's a few question marks. Will Maia go with Isabelle or Harriet?

Personally I was hoping Harriet would play with Jodie, they would be a really strong pair.

I could see Harriet playing with 3 players Heather, Jodie or Maia!

Cracking match for the last QF which has just finished (21:40). Some very long rallies in the MTB, and a shame it ended in a netted volley.

QF - Emerson Jones (AUS) / Veronika Podrez (UKR) CR1543 (1103+460) lost to Linda Fruhvirtova (CZE) / Alina Korneeva (***) UNR (UNR+307) 4+6 6-4 8-10

*****

SF - Linda Fruhvirtova (CZE) / Alina Korneeva (***) UNR (UNR+307) v Freya Christie (GBR) / Eden Silva (GBR) CR346 (174+172)

SF:- Madeleine Brooks (GBR) / Amelia Rajecki (GBR) CR270 (119+151) [4] v Catherine Harrison (USA) / Alexandra Osborne (AUS) CR290 (147+143)

Solid rain again now in this neck of the woods.

I am looking at the forecast and it looks like tomorrow will be rainy, Sunday clear. What is hard to see is them getting 4 rounds of play done in 2 days, assuming they dont get any play today on the grass.

I would have thought they need to start looking at moving singles indoors this afternoon, there would be time if they started now to get 16 round 2 mens and womens singles matches played - they have 5 courts and were using 4 of them yesterday

Thanks for the update, Jon

And obviously they'll have lights in the inside courts so they'd be able to go on till quite late

They've scheduled a single match on 3 of the indoor courts so far and they're just getting underway

Looks like the rain did stop and they are back outdoors again - Katie and ALicia both on court

This will be an interesting test for Katie, Golubic is a crafty grass court player who uses the slice a lot and has a single handed backhand and a heavy forehand but I think Katie has the bigger shots, I'd like to think she can win this but she'll have to play well

The BBC Ilkley forecast from 5 pm onwards looks good. So, especially if they can avoid further rain before then, they should make pretty good outdoor progress today.

There's definitely some sunshine - I can see shadows on the court
