Tatjana does make it through qualifying with a 4 & 3 win. So should have her eye in for the main draw !

I thought she did well considering the ranking gap, as did Hannah and Heather. All did better than I expected..

We have tickets for today. The weather looks pretty appalling. Not sure its even worth making the journey

 How long is your journey?

This morning looks prety crud on the forecast although I'm central london and it's not raining here, and the ground is dry (it's pretty grey and blustery but no rain at all (at the moment))

This afternoon looks better on the forecast

If you're not too far away, I would play it by ear - I'm pretty sure there will be some play

I'm slightly concerned as well as I'm going to Queens on Wednesday and the forecast doesn't look amazing. However, to be honest, it looks pretty awful all week until Friday - the organisers could face some dilemmas.

Very strange order of play today too. I can understand limiting the number of matches with the forecast being so bad. I can't however understand Meredith Kessler being in both matches on Court 2. What if they have only 3 successive hours of playable courts and she needs a 1 hour break?
