Has anyone been able to watch and is Katie playing lights out or is it more Cirstea struggling because this scoreline is astonishing?

 Katie was astonishingly good.

I didnt think Katies slice serve was working quite as well, so once that gets going she could do even better. Moves back to GBR number 2 and up to 38 approx in WTA live race, which I have to say is my favourite metric for current form.

Edit - Christian instead of Circstea

 Both, I would say

Cristian came out with a calf strapping and was pretty poor - wasn't reading the flight of the ball, wasn't moving well

Meanwhile, Katie looked very at ease and strolled through, playing excellent percentage tennis

Cristian went off after the first set and removed the calf support, and seemed to be getting the hang of conditions a bit better in the second

But Katie did really well - she was serving pretty well, keeping the ball deep, only using slice when she needed to, came into the net a few times - it was intelligent play

Well, Laura and Mariana could have done without this....... Elena and Tatti have been on the court about 2 hours and are just about to go into a third set .....

Rybakina taked the second set 7-5, so into a decider. Only 1 hour 48 minutes so far, but all helps Katie for later.

Liv+ have won their first set

One of their opponents (I don't know which one's which) had quite a fall, and hurt her knee

But she carried on

Harriet played so well to break Rahkimova's serve but each time so far she has made so many errors on her own serve has not been able to consolidate the break.

Yes, both girls having real trouble in holding serve

But Harriet, after a real tussle, manages it, just, at the key moment and takes the first set

She did it smile and takes the first set 7-5

Eventually served out a long game, having initially been *0-40 down.

Not so much help in the third set which Rybakina won 6-0 ( 24 points to 4 ).

Emma time ...

It was quite a bad slip that led to the MTO a couple of days later (jolted her neck). Not convinced she'll finish but let's see. About to lose the set.
