I thought you could watch 125 events on the WTA web site but there's no sign of anything form Birmingham yet. I was hoping to watch Hannah's match

Hannah can be seen on https://en.sportplus.live/tennis/206215/7924669/

Looks like all the matches will be available, as they are all on Bet365 as well

I don't think the WTA show the qualifying, but I may be wrong

Kruegar has a CH of 29, and was seeded at Wimbledon last year, beating Mika in round one. Slipped down the rankings to just below Fran.

I don't mind the scoreline, it happens and Krueger is well underranked. I mind the quality (or lack of) in the performance, something that's been an issue in a lot of her matches the last few months. There will be bumps in the road in development but I'm struggling to see anything in her game that looks stronger/more advanced than it was a year ago (but I will defer to those with more expert eyes!).

Hopefully she can at least make this second set a little bit competitive.

Hi, newbie here. How can Martincova be ranked 148, but not be seeded?

Sorry, typo when I wasn't fully awake. Now corrected to WR248

 100%

And, yes, the second half of the second set had a few signs of life

But overall it was, tbh, very poor

This year there has been no progress at all, IMO

There are SO many technical flaws - which is really bizarre, if you have all the money being thrown at you

And, as you say, there's no application

Ashlyn didn't have to do much /anything there

 Good news

Wonder who dropped out of the main draw ....

Emily App played a decent enough match but lost 2 and 3

Mimi served for the match but it has always been close - tightened up a little to get broken and then two pretty weak games to lose it 7-5.
