 Although Birmingham tennis week has moved earlier by a couple of weeks since it was a WTA 250 and 500 event! Its most likely just a Birmingham thing!

One of the outside courts basically kept going through the brief shower. Centre and the others now getting ready again.

It's looks like Alicia and Katie are the only round 1 matches still to be completed, since Katie is currently playing doubles, is she likely to finish her singles today?

The ATP order of play (and hence TNNS) are showing Emily W-S and Celine Naef as replacing Hon and Masarova - and to follow Lissey/ Sam v e Katie and Taylah.
Of course the LTA website don't show this at the moment, although the WTA OOP has now updated.

 As the winners of these two matches meet in round 2 I suspect they will be completed on Thursday before they play again later in the day. The matches aren't showing on today's schedule as far as I can see.
