Seems rather harsh on Preston and Dudeney to force them to finish and then play a well rested Swan.
Bizarrely Preston looks set to play three times today. Against Dudeney, with Swan and then against Swan.

My guess is that if she does win against Dudeney that her game against Swan is delayed til tomorrow

It's difficult with the weather and tbf it was anticipated that Katie would have her R1 match to complete too. But Tomljanovic has retired from that. It is certainly reasonable to be trying to.play any outstanding L16 singles matches today if they can.

Any singles match scheduled will no doubt be due before any doubles match scheduled so it would be S / S / D. And if they later in the day think one needs to drop it looks still as if that would be the doubles which is already at the QF stage

The doubles match with Preston and Swan is down as suspended at 4-3.

Was this yesterday or have they started today with it?

No idea about Katie's doubles match. All the websites seemed to disagree on what was happening yesterday, but I strongly suspect that was the overnight score.

Play has resumed on Centre. Mika is *4-3

Superb serving from Mika wins her the first set 6-4, she has coped well with the restart after the interruption despite missing the chance to get the double break

Taylah is scheduled for a possible 4 matches today, as the doubles SFs are also scheduled. Good luck with that.

Shame she couldn't get one of those three break points

She rain break (after one of them) really helped her opponent

Alicia has come back, failed to break and then got broken herself :(

Lots of breaks in Alicia's game - she's saved MPs - and we're through to a TB

Even if she goes on to lose the tie break it sounds like it's a very encouraging performance from Alicia in what I'm guessing is a big step up in opponent from her recent tournaments?

Mika running forward looks SO like Maria Sharapova - luckily her tennis looks like Maria Sharapova is other ways too

And, even better, she didn't smile

Alicia bossed the tiebreak - and we're into a third

As said before, Alicia has always been good on grass - our best junior in Wimbledon that year
