Mackin v. Verdasco[1]

Mackin holds: 1-0
Verdasco broken on the 2nd bp: 2-0
Mackin holds after 4deuces: 3-0
Verdasco holds easily: 3-1

Mackin serving, 1st serve fault, 0-15...15-15...15-30...15-40

Verdasco is struggling to deal with Mackin's 1st serve, but really attacking the second serve and winning almost all the points on it.

Mackin misses a BP and Verdascos holds: 4-4

Mackin: Verdasco races to 0-30. The bad news is they were both 1st serves so Verdasco may have begun to read Mackin's serve. 15-30...15-40 2Bps...game Verdasco

At the moment Mackin's serve isn't working at its best which is why he's struggling (I think!).
