Parmar has started off the 2nd set well, holding to love with an ace. He now leads 7-6, 1-0. Fantastic news for Arvind is that Karlovic has gone out in a rather bizarre match on court 2. The Croat took the 1st set 6-0 against Alex Bogomolov jnr but then sustained some kind of injury and had to retire with Bogomolov leading 4-2 in set 2 !!! This means that Arvind's section of the draw has really opened up !

Mackin is now just 2 service holds away from one of the best victories of his career. He leads 6-3, 4-2

Fantastic !!!! Mackin beats Arthurs 6-3, 6-3 !! What a victory, especially on grass !!
Mackin now joins Tim Henman as the only Brits who've beaten Arthurs.

Mackin got 61% 1st serves in [really key for him as that's his big weapon on grass]. Arthurs got 74% of 1st serves in.
