Great 1st hold from Mackin, if he'd lost that break point there that could have been the end of the set for him.

0-15 for him now on the Arthurs serve

Re CZ's post: Can't really see Kennaugh getting a set off Delic. If Kennaugh pushes Delic close in one set then he'll have done well.

Andy's now 0-3 down and 15-30 down on his serve, he must hold here !! I suspect he's had a nervy start.

Meanwhile Arthurs is now at 40-30 on his serve

Kennaugh v Delic: Andy saves a bp and now has game point ! 1-3. Hopefully getting on the scoreboard will give him some confidence.

Kennaugh's now down 1-4: 15-0 up on his serve. So far Andy has 63% of 1st serves in and is winning a respectable 70% of points on 1st serve but only 17% on 2nd serve

Andy's been broken and is now 5-1 down in the 1st set.

Mackin has game point for 3-2 in set 1, and he takes it !!! 3-2

Great news is that the Parmar match has now come up, it's on serve in set 1, Niemeyer leads 3-2. Parmar is 40-0 up on serve. Neither player has had any bp chances yet. Arvind's 1st serve percentage is just 38% but he's winning 60% of points on 2nd serve.

Kennaugh has lost the 1st set 6-1, he's won just 2 points on the Delic serve. At the moment he's been quite simply outclassed. I think that Queens should have given the qualies wc to someone with a chance of winning the match or at least making it competitive. Colin Fleming and James Auckland both have the grass-court weapon which Kennaugh currently lacks, a booming 1st serve to win cheap points. Andy's very talented but not really ready yet to be thrown into an ATP qualies event.

Mackin is again returning the Arthurs serve really well from the look of things he has a bp to lead 4-2. Mackin has now broken !!!! Great stuff !!

Arvind and Niemeyer are both struggling with their 1st serves at the moment. Arvind needs to get that percentage up and win some cheap points. When he's got it in he's won 100% of the points but he's only got it in 6 times so far. Niemeyer leads 4-3
