No worries Brittak and SuperT, its all fine. A draw was a good result however we got there!

Ps assumed, Brittak, you were on some summer tennis odyssey, in Paris or the like, so was forgiving you anyway!

No sadly (or not, given the weather) at home at the moment.

Next tennis stop The big W - thinking of doing qualies as well this year as have never been,

Do go to qualies if you can, a good way to see plenty of Brits in action. I've been a couple of times and others here have also been. Even Indiana made the trip last year. I'm just waiting for the tickets to go on sale - already booked a hotel.

Thanks - where to stay has been one of my dilemmas as the travel seems a bit difficult/remote. Do you have a recommendation?

I'm staying in Richmond, which is just three stops on the train from Barnes (nearest station). But there isn't a lot of choice and everywhere is expensive. Probably better to look around the Hammersmith area.

Congratulations to Toby and Katie! Very happy with a draw, as wanted to vote for both of them!.
Thanks Jon.

 Thanks for the advice!

Might see some of you there!

I stayed in Wimbledon Central Travelodge last year. There was a fairly frequent bus service ( moreso when going in the morning ) from 5 minutes from the hotel up past the AELTC to a stop about 20 minutes away from Roehampton.

If you are using public transport I think a final wee walk to qualifying from some direction is unavoidable.

I was planning to go again this year but finances may dictate a year off.

Call it 28 votes and one more vote each for Katie and Toby

I'm booked into Richmond Travelodge - price is pretty much the same as Wimbledon Central. It's either a walk from Barnes station, or from Mortlake (not so nice initially, but the second half is much better than Priory Lane and you don't get overtaken by bikes and people in a hurry).
