Billy getting well and truly beaten by Damm, that's not good at all - 6-2 3-1 and on grass, that is a dismantling

Top seed Bellucci has gone out, winning just 3 games against Alex Bolt. Bolt will play winner of Arthur Fery and Schoolkate in round 2

Billy proving me wrong (as always) by fighting back and taking the second set on a tie break. Go Billy!

Arthur takes the opener 6-4. Schoolkate - as mentioned - won Ilkley last season, no slouch on grass. Arthur doing well

Well done Billy, turned that around. Damm may have been a lucky loser but he was also ranked 34 places above Billy and had a couple of games on grass under his belt, so good to pull that one out.

MD didn't help himself by throwing in two DFs in that final set TB.   Billy got over the line though. Let us hope that he can progess thru the gears.

I don't like his service action though.

Jake is getting well beaten so far, Rinky 4-1 and break point for 5-1

And Arthur gets a great win!

Really good win for Arthur, pleased with that. Bolt will be tough in round two though, but beatable. So many Aussies in this event!
