Court 13 is a pretty manky court - only got viewing on one side, I'm pretty sure - and pretty limited viewing at that

Amélie do that on purpose?

you'd think .. I mean tournaments generally provide the best experience they can for their patrons, and that includes putting those players that are a big draw, on to courts where the volume of paying spectators wanting to see such players, are best able to see them. Not necessarily at RG

Is Emma a big draw in Paris right now though? Barely playing, not in any sort of form. Amelie is probably not even convinced she's going to actually make it on the match court (I think she absolutely will) and so why put her on a bigger court against a lot of other, arguably more deserving, names.

If you look at the OOP, the matches on the three main courts are all far more attractive for the French public in my opinion. Some big names and French players.

It's going to be hot and quick conditions so hopefully that helps Katie out a bit.

A chance for Tereza and Liv to get a couple of wins before third round/L16 opponents Muhammad / Stollar [8], before Sinakova / Townsend [1] in the QF.

I think Katie and Puts have a chance here - as do Harriet and partner

I could see Harriet and Alex having a run here which although on the face of things sounds good, maybe counterproductive for Harriet getting on the grass.

Perhaps, but I can't really see Harriet and Alex beating Muhammad and Stollar in the second round
