Just playing devil's advocate here. The tournament doesn't get under way until Tuesday & Cam Norrie is still in the running in the Madrid Masters, but should he crash out, he'll be the top seed here AND have a bye into the second round, so, given that he will almost certainly face Sinner in the last 16 there if he gets past Tirante later today, he's probably wise to hedge his bets & no doubt the organisers will go out of their way to accommodate him!
