Week 17 – ITF W35 Nottingham 1, Great Britain - Hard

Expecting plenty of all GB matches.
Lily only seems to play domestic events after finishing college, so i'm not sure if that is lack of funding or for other reasons

Could be another title for Eden and Freya.

Ruby draws the top seed in R1 two weeks in a row.

There's a player there, well capable of a big rise in the rankings, but hey a few better draws wouldn't go amiss, draw gods.

Presumably Hrunkakova is fit to go after retiring in the Roehampton final.

I suspect that 9 matches in 5 days probably took too much out of Viktoria. The two times I saw her play singles she had to work hard for her wins.

Not too bad draws.
3 guaranteed winners and i'd expect at least four more winners

I don't think even the most ardent Czech fan can have a real soft spot for Laboutkova's tennis

But what a super match from Amelie

Thoroughly deserved !
