Excellent - well done H and H. One more win and they both go past Lloyd and Julian in the rankings, and would go equal top of the race.
On the other hand, if it's Luke & Jan that win the SF, they will go top 10 in the race, very largely from their Aus Open SF and what would then be a Masters final, with a kind of time out for the period in between. Nice looking QF win for them.

Should be an interesting match - don't know if Henry and Luke have ever played each other before? Calvin and Louis will no doubt just head off for a coffee or beer somewhere and leave them to it!
Has there ever been any talk of of making ATP doubles free to view on TennisTV.com ? I don't think it would hurt their income and it could be a way to grow the doubles game. Given that the cameras and IT are already there and that viewers of doubles are unlikely to want/need any commentary.
SF: (3) Harri Heliövaara (FIN) & Henry Patten CR 12 (6+6) defeated Luke Johnson & Jan Zielinski (POL) CR 80 (47+33) by 6-3 4-3 retired
Thats not good - any idea why they retired, anyone?

Just before going onto the court, however, the opposing team suffered an injury in the warm-up area when Johnson twisted his ankle badly in his last few spurts. The physio quickly taped his ankle together, and when we stepped onto the court, to be honest, I didn't notice any major problems, even in the opening volley. But when we got to 2-1, it became clear on Johnson's first serve that he was completely unable to push with his left foot. We took full advantage of that with a strong return and break, which was enough to win the set, as our own serving was top-notch.
Interestingly, if H and H lose the final, the ATP Doubles Race will have three pairs as joint leaders on 2810 points; Neal and Christian, Henry and Harri and Andreozzi and Guinard.
Obviously, if H and H win they will top as well as moving to equal 3rd in the rankings, behind Neal at one and Zeballos at 2.
It matters not in the great scheme of things, but anyone know how ties are broken in the Race?
