After last week, in tomorrow's rankings, Katie will have more ranking points scorers than any other British woman with 25. So 7 actually not counting, including a 30, 25 and 20.
While we seem to have a bit of a glut of other players' injuries and illness, it is great to see Katie playing such a full competitive schedule after her varying issues in earlier years.
Stop Press - Leolia Jeanjean beat Vekic and Masarova, massively against the odds, to qualify. I mention as I believe I am not the only one who loosely follows her here.
Katie does seem to be getting more comfortable on clay. She was moving well, several times getting to a drop shot in time to hit a successful passing shot.
