Lloyd & Julian win 3 & 4 :D

Really pleased for these two; not been the easiest year and they've lost their last three finals. Their first title/run of 4 wins since October; they also have nothing to defend until the French, so the chance to build up a nice cushion for their grass court season ahead.

Last year Lloyd missed both Madrid and Rome. Julan missed Madrid and lost in R1 in Rome, partnering Lucas Miedler, for a 0 counter.

Assuming they play both events as partners this year, they will have identical 12 months records after Rome so should then have equal rankings..

I think Granollers and Zeballos are defending quite a few points so maybe a chance for them and others to regain ground as well

In the end 5 men's doubles titles this week including this fairly big one. GB men's doubles at least remains very healthy as we salute Jamie Murray on his retirement.
