Sofia wasn't a standout junior (only got to JR 730)
But her father insisted that the two children did sport, and chose one to be serious about
Sofia chose tennis, went to US college, at Old Dominion, as a real youngster, gradually found her feet, grew in confidence and got better and better
And now, in 2026, she's won a W15 title and - today - a W35 title
Really impressive
And her Ivory Coast physical trainer dad no doubt is very proud (Sofia has certainly got lovely balance, and never looks like things are a push), as well as Hungarian mum
