Do you know is there a tennis bar or pub in London as such where they would put billie jean king cup on

You'll be lucky to find anywhere open at 2am even if they were likely to show it live. It will be shown on The Tennis Channel, which is also available vie Amazon Prime. There will be free streams available also - eg Bet365.

Could Boulter still join the squad now she's out of Linz?

If you are trying to avoid paying to watch, you probably won't need to. Tennis Channel have two models, a FAST channel which is free and subscription channels through the App. The FAST channel is available on Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels (the channels that come with the TV that nobody watches) and as TA says Prime Video. You can also download Samsung TV Plus App on a mobile device if you don't have a Samsung or LG TV. GB ties are usually shown on the FAST channel.

Even if she wanted to, which I doubt, and though its not a ranking event, I think the one tournament a week rule still applies.

I'm not sure the subscription version is available in the UK anymore (officially at least).

Last year I won a LTA Competition with a year's Tennis Channel subscription as the prize but the code I was given didn't work, I guess it doesn't matter now.

TNNS is pretty good - there is an app and the  website is https://tnnslive.com/

So what does everyone think the team will be? Mika and Harriet for the singles and Harriet and Jodie for the doubles?

I think it is between Mika and Katie for the second singles, as I doubt Jodie is ready for singles yet (seems fit enough but hasn't played). Much depends on how they have performed in training this week.
I can't see anyone replacing Harriet and Jodie in the doubles, they are both experienced at this level.

Gosh I really worry about a thorough beatdown(under) here. Gibson playing a level above where she was in the summer vs Katie. They'll walk the dubs on paper and Emerson is obviously a very talented prospect.

There is a you tube video from LTA showing behind the scenes GB practising on the Melbourne courts, Harriet and Jodie were practicing but then also Katie and Jodie were practicing doubles.

Mika looked like she had time on the ball when she was hitting forehands and backhands

Katie last played singles in 2016. She played doubles with Harriet in 2019 and 2022. I can't remember if she made the team since then, but with her injuries I rather doubt it.

Heather has just posted a photo of her practising with Katy Dunne at Wimbledon. So not on her way to Oz.

Edit:- Location corrected. Didn't realise that they had a couple of outdoor hardcourts there !
