I'm not quite sure why Alicia is even in another W15 again. Danger of rather than just pick up singles and doubles wins, some very easy, your standards drop?

Hopefully she's say working on elements in her game.

To be fair to Alicia, if you look at all the W15s this week, there are plenty of players in the 400s in them, even some players in the 300s.

Alicia was in the mid-400s when she entered this event, and still is in the 400s now

So, given that standard coaching would say that all players should play events covering a range that encompasses their level, she's a 'normal' entrant for a W15

If she never plays up, that would be 'wrong'. But her top choice for the week of the 6th April is a W75

And in the first two months of the year she played: a WTA125, a W75, 3 x W50, a W35

So now doing some W15s would the perfect example of the normal coaching advice vis-a-vis the range

Well argued. OK Alicia, I'll let you off - that'll be a relief to her.

She would have struggled to get in the main draw for anything higher.
Definitely worth mixing it up until there is a bigger range of 35k and above where she will get in direct.
