I am the biggest Dan fan and was absolutely outraged when he did didnt get a wildcard. Yesterday I went to the Liverpool International tennis tournament exhibition to get a last watch of Evo, and I now wonder whether LTA/Wimbledon have some minimum fitness/training requirements that Dan hasnt met? He looked out of shape and I know its only an exhibition but he lost easily to Herman Hoeyeraal who is ranked about 900 I think and Dan didnt look match fit at all. I would probably have still given him a WC for his service but after yesterday it makes me think it was a difficult decision. Liam Broady was in fine fettle and beat Ivanov quite handily and plays Evo today.
