Oh, just give Felix a bloomin' Q WC if he still needs one before the play-offs. Totally deseved.

Have to say, the more I dwell on it, I am livid Dan hasnt got one for main draw - why keep him waiting if they plan to give him one. Presumably they wont be planning to, therefore. Billy I understand more, want to see how this week goes perhaps.

But Dan. Now that is disrespecteful

Felix I assume they are just hoping makes it in otherwise they should as mentioned give him one! Then it seems like Billy will get a MDWC and I really am unsure on Dan or Harry... I think I would side slightly with Dan! With my hat on that says show the rest what hard work and dedication to GB can get you in the future :) but also I'd love to see an up and comer get a chance so I see why it's tough!

A disgrace given Stan Wawrinka has been given one in similar circumstances even though he couldn't be bothered to enter qualifying last year and stayed on the clay in the challenger tour instead.

Nor has he any great record at Wimbledon, with only 2 QFs more than a decade ago as his best

Shameful from Wimbledon. Totally shameful.

I've never really been an Evo fan so maybe I'm biased, and he's not exactly been the ambassador for British tennis, but they have given him a WC into the dubs.
However one reason for him dropping his ranking was to support Andy, so surely that must count for something.

But Stan is a 3 time major winner - didn't he and Murray play the first match under the centre court roof? I seem to remember a 5-set thriller. Dimitrov is the one that surprised me, no slams and not even a slam final - but everyone at the BBC seems to gush over him, so maybe that's why.

Possibly the powers that be felt sorry for Dimi as he got injured during a match were he was beating Sinner. Although I quite agree - Dimi having a MDWC surprised me too.

I think the Dimi thing is linked back to that chest injury. He might have won the whole thing until that happened. As mentioned earlier, Id have had him on my list of possibles. I also think Berrettini could still get one if he doesnt get in directly. Still hope and think Dan and Billy should get rhem

I do wonder if Billy playing such toilet tennis when the top 100 was within grasp will count against him. That said, he is a proven main draw winner at SW19.

I'd sooner Dan than Stan but I do feel that the rant about not getting a Queens WC felt very manipulative, same as the whole Tatjana Maria thing, a little coercive and that may have made them reconsider.

Yes, won through to MD R2 last year plus is still in the here and now live ranked 136, live  GB #4 ( #6 in the current rankings ) and even if a bit older I still thought so clearly in the ranking group that did get MD WCs, well clear of anyone else.

As for Dan not yet having a MD WC, I guess either you see it very clearly or you don't. I have no more words, well for now.

I said quite a few days ago it looked a very easy GB 6 to go with this year, so just don't much it up, AELTC. They could yet hopefully get there though even a delay is poor.

If such things effect them against players then they are not fit for purpose. Stand back, do the right thing. And IMO that was Queen's WC for Tatjana and Wimbledon WC for Dan.

No one likes to feel like they're being manipulated. Dan should have kept his mouth shut for once (and I'm a fan of him)
