Just had a look and currently, Gil's 4th alt, Crawford 7th, Jay Clarke 15th then further down there's Alastair Gray 29th and Charles Broom 32nd. How many withdrawals are likely?
Also, not surprised by Dan not getting a WC - and I might be in the minority, but I'd prefer it to go to one of the Brits who could really benefit from it to push on their next 12 months.
So, the simplest choice of 6 British WCs ever - ie.these awarded plus Bily and Dan but ....
So unless another foreign possible ( hope not! ), I don"t see the delay. I wouldn't think anyone can do enough at Nottingham to get ahead of Billy ( who has won his R1 there ) and Dan.
Dan, say nothing for now! Although you'ed have to be total ****holes to take public criticism of WCs into account ( there goes my chances of ever getting a WC )
Yes, very stange re Felix not being on the Q WC list ( once I had got to grips re his position ). I would have thought he was an obvious Q WC, while not a MD WC candidate ( though I think someone did mention his name in dispatches ).. Anyway, he has also won his R1 in Nottingham, as has Jay.
Top marks to anyone who had the current Q WC list!
That leaves the top 14 in rankng order, not currently in the MD or Q as :
1. Felix G 2. Oliver C 3. Jay C 4. Alistair G 5. Charles B 6. George L 7. Giles H 8. Hamish S 9. Paul J 10. Max B 11. Ryan P 12. Anton M 13. Lui M 14. Aidan M
All of these are top 500 ( the first 12 top 400 ). It must be going to be the strongest play-offs line-up in memory.

stacked. 4 of them are still in action elsewhere though, so maybe won't make it to Aorangi Park
If all of these do end up playing (Aidan and Ryan P must also be doubts, unless Ryan is fit and just not playing) it will be a cracking event to see who comes through
