I thought he was going to blow it when he handed back the early break he'd secured!

Really good win, well done Harry!

Kuzmanov played in the Glasgow Challenger a month or so back, beating Paul Jubb but losing to Liam Broady.

Incredibly impressive win from Harry. There were quite a few times where he could have easily folded in that one. Had a match point at 5-4 in the second set, and then the Austrian dominated the tiebreak. Broke serve at the start of the decider, and was broken straight back, but just kept battling. Saved 6/7 break points in the decider.

Really impressive toughness to get the win. The Austrian got better and better as the match went on, and just wouldn't go away. The final game was a mini epic in itself.

Bit of a tough one tomorrow as Kuzmanov had a pretty easy day in comparison, winning 1 & 1. But nothing to lose and some very big points on offer, if he can make the final.

This win will move him up to a new CH of 254. A year ago, he was ranked 630!

Also this means that like Felix, Charlie and Ryan, Harry's now 30-40 points away from securing a spot in French Open qualies. Not an enormous amount of time - as the list will conclude in about a month, but would be amazing if one of them could make it

Toby looks on top, set up and 4-3.

The Greek, Sakelleridis awaits the winner. He has beaten Oli C and Felix G recently in New Delhi challenger

Well done to Finn Bass.

Having been a very good junior, for whatever reasons he has never really progressed in seniors as he would no doubt have liked, with a singles CH 756 way back in 2018.

But after 2 challenger doubles SFs already this year ( both with Ben Jones ), he now has this challenger final. He will be up to a further new doubles CH ( currently live ranked 262 ), having ended last year WR 333.

So, there is the possibility of there being two Brits in the final of a foreign Challenger, has this ever happened before? I don't think it has ever happened in a UK event either.  Whilst we're all tennis nerds, I'd be really suprised if anyone can answer this question. Maybe Nottingham a long time ago?  This is definitely a question that Google and AI should be able to help with.

Edit:  To answer my own question, you can cut and paste         Google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&udm=50&aep=42&source=chrome.crn.rb&q=has+there+ever+been+a+Tennis+Challenger+event+with+two+british+players+in+the+final%3F&mstk=AUtExfDj8VZmZckoSTyBH54umYnl_q7SYhMqK3U2fQBzh0wzi_y1zrz899DLGvZX6y0uujhOKyr7aPcTaOe-JoUJ-wDKvVt0itO1Tvob9ysdYjpIw5r0dR0eJqSWVNt8mUpNogN9CozBaC7fvDqTiRNv6ZC646IgqP1rTnE&csuir=1&mtid=YCyraeHHL9CghbIPq7e-kAU

In short, it happened twice last year!  But prior to that, only twice in the last 20 years.

Im sure it has I vaguely think Dan Evans and Cam Norrie might have played a final in California.
