Hermione K Davies lost in R1. As did Daphne Lovdahl.
In the boys, Kasra Shirazi and Casey Drake both won a match and then lost in R2
J60 Luxembourg
A great run so far by Harrison Mcelnea who won in R1 and then beat the top seed, and is now into the QFs
Sam Hostiuc lost in R1
J30 Portugal
Murray Watters is into R3
Matt Kiernan lost his first match, as did John Carney
J30 Estonia
Matilda Burns, (q) Annabel Fletcher (age 14) and Isabella Barratt-Campbell (age 14) all won two matches and lost in the QFs (in very close matches, for Matilda and Isabella, who'd already beaten the 2nd seed)
Matilda is into the semis in doubles
J60 Norway
Leo Wright and Casey Unitt both won in R1 and have their R2 matches tomorrow
Same for Alice Haddad and Elizabeth Prangley (who beat the 3rd seed)
In terms of important 'other' events, the Super Auray is taking place this week
One of the world's top 12U events, we're up to the QF stage now
And GB has two players left it
In the girls, Sahara Baptiste is through, playing her very rushed, rather higgledy-piggledy tennis - but with a LOT of talent, a lot of strings to her bow and, as said before plenty of time, a very promising prospect (although it's not quite 'in place' yet)
In the boys, Philip Neuez is also through to the QFs
Philip is a completely new name to me - am off to do some digging (although if Rose is on the case, that would be great )
To note, Victoria Florea lost in the last 16, but against the clear top seed, Mila Berta, and with a very respectable score. Isal Skeates lost in the last 32, in a third-set TB. Young Nolwaine Ngassam came through qualis but lost to quite a strong French girl in her first match. Louis Taylor also lost in R of the boys
