Keep an eye on this one. There's cartel violence in Mexico, although the tournament is still going ahead.

 After they killed the drugs baron, El Mencho. BBC news report on Five Live advised the event was under ongoing review as there has been violence in Acapulco; Merida wasnt mentioned on that report.

Guadalajara, one of the FIFA World Cup venues, is one of the main areas of the violence - keep an eye on that one.

The first couple of round one matches are under way.  I hope to God that the players are in no physical danger.
