A title for Jan in France this week should see him top 100. Although it is a long shot, despite being seeded 2.

In theory possible WR 95. See my doubts in the tournament thread as to whether even top 100 would necessarily hold in 2 weeks time when other players' points are added.

Possible - but live rankings also shows 8 players will drop behind Jan naturally in 2 weeks time with points falling off. As said, it may be a long shot, not least winning the event (Tennis Abstract for one doesnt rate his chances that highly) will be a stretch. But it is at least possible.

confuse - all points due off in the next 2 weeks should already be off in the live rankings. Jan is currently still live ranked 122 ( the same as his official WR for 02/03 ) due to himself dropping 12 points.

Sorry, Im looking at the 23rd March forecast rankings, these show Jan as 5 places up and 8 places up by 30th March.

I cant copy it here, but LTR app has a 1-5 weeks out forecast tool which shows how many places each player is due to move.

I read 23rd March as end of IW and it is the week after.

It wont me copy or link it from the app, but Im sure you have it anyway. Next to Jans forecast points in 3 weeks it shows +5 places, week after week+8 places.

ETA - here is the tool they have - managed to access the website on my laptop.

Yes, I know of this and have just looked.

It's actually no change at 23/03 - mid Miami, +5 at 30/03 - post Miami, and +8 at 06/04.

In the table ( certainly on my phone ) the +'s and -'s come before the relevant date / points. Projected 511 points at 30/03 and 497 points at 06/04.

Cool, got it - anyway, the point being he generally stands to gain compared to others around him, all things being equal, albeit not to the end of the month as opposed to end of IW. Looking at the list, Toby is looking at a decent gain compared to others as well

I see from entries list page, Jan is down to play Murcia challenger w.c. 16/3, after this weeks event. SO obviously hoping to pick up points whilst attention is on the big 1000 events.

Jack PJ has qualies at IW and, if he loses in those, he is entered next week into a challenger in Punta Cana , the big challenger in Dominican Republic, where he is in the qualies list. That has a strong entry but also bigger points for Jack to try and gain, and the field is obviously subject to change, like Phoenix.
