Certainly JPJ for me.

With 456 points from 12 counters, if he had a full set of 18 counters at that rate he would already pro-rata be comfortably in the top 100. Looks to have stengthened up significantly and clearly looked very good already this season

So if he keeps relatively fit and plays enough, that's your answer. Top 100 player in waiting

I think a few are top 100 level , its who will be next thats the question. Will Jack or Arthur get the poonts befroe Jan or will Billy have a big event and jump up again?

Right here, right now, tbh I think only JPJ is top 100 level.

Hopefully Arthur will continue to progress and get there. Oli T could be though clearly long term with him and I really hope that we don't have to wait for that.

Jan and Billy I don't quite see as top 100 level players though yes they might sneak over the line with a really good couple of weeks or so.

So your money is on JPJ next! I think hes more sustainable in the top 100 for sure, just wonder if he will be next to sneak in!

According to LTR, Jan sits at a 5 week forecast position of 112, as 9 players above him lose a decent chunk of points. Hed be 47 points off 100th in that 5 week position.

I think its between Jack and Arthur. Hopefully both get there sometime in the next 12 months or so.

Most people seem to agree it will be JPJ , with Jan and Arthur getting a lot less support and anyone else but those listed picking up a vote. But in essence, we cumulatively largely believe it will be one of 3 players next into the top 100

It's actually very interesting to look at Jan's ranking points distribution further still into the year.

Of his points to drop this year, he has no more than 14 points to drop in any single week before Wimbledon, with his 4 big challenger title counters due off later -  50 points at 13/07, 75 at 20/07, 125 at 21/09, and 125 at 12/10.

Of his now 530 points ( with 13 from Dubai ) he will only drop a total of 59 points ( from 6 counters ) before Wimbledon so will have a minimum of 471 points before we start considering what he might add before then.

Mimimum 471 points more than 4 months away with the current WR 100 on 606 points and it appears that that will dip below 600 points on Monday - all together you know what, given these figs and his latest form, I think it more likely than not that Jan will be top 100 before Wimbledon, maybe a fair bit before.

So re Jon's question, it really then looks like will anyone get there before him and to be honest I am now having my doubts, not that JPJ isn't a top 100 level player, and will get there, but that he will be the first - and I see no entries for him in the next few weeks.

So actually Jan very possibly our next top 100 player, and if he keeps playing like he has the last couple of weeks he won't just be sneaking in but be there as another genuine top 100 level player.

Hey, new day, new thoughts - it's allowed   biggrin
