Week 8 - ATP 500 - Dubai, UAE (outdoor hard)

5 titles in their last 6 tournaments.

Their returning game which was stuck in the mud for the middle portion of last season has drastically improved.

2nd in the race and although ranked 8th equal individually, Id say the best pair in the game at the moment, for sure.

Im pleased for Henry and Hari but I cant believe this match was played when government advice is to stay indoors and be prepared in case of attack. I just hope everyone stays safe and manages to get out as soon as it safe to do so.

Given UAE and most middle east airspace is closed, not sure how players are going to get out, never mind get to Indian Wells.

I saw the singles final was a walkover , not sure if related or was due to injury

From reports

An Iranian missile has hit Dubai's famous Palm Jumeirah hotel as Tehran launches widespread revenge attacks across the Middle East following US airstrikes. Missiles fired by Tehran have struck US military bases in Qatar and have also rained down on Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain and Israel. Videos posted on social media show Dubai's iconic Palm Jumeirah ablaze after it was hit by a suspected Iranian missile or missile debris.

There are currently no draws published for the Fujairah challenger due to take place next week where 5 Brits were due to play.

The longer Trump and his cronies stick around the more the schedule may be in danger

"Imminent threat?" - **** off, you just fancied doing it so did.

OK, having vaguely referenced the tennis schedule, I will save any further thoughts on Trump for his own thread.

It would be nice if someone else commented on Henry and Harri proving themselves the top pair once again!

Sorry, Jon, doubles doesn't really do it for me - and we have so many players in the top-50, say, that they're all doing great, and it really doesn't seem to matter who's top or not
