If I remember correctly weve had quite a bit of success in this event. Particularly on the girls side.

Thanks for the livestream link Oscariyan Just Sophie playing today and she claimed a comfortable win over a seed with modest record. You can wind back to Sophie's match on court 2, but there are no scores at present. I guess chair umpires will be added later in the week to enable scoring. As Mervatron says we have had success here on the girls side - Hannah Klugman in 2023 and Sonay Kartal in the inaugural event (2019)

Girls R1 (L32)

Sophie Bekker d. (8) Nehir Dogan (TUR) 6-3 6-1

Rhys lost a really close match, losing 4-6 in the third set

But Dani Britton continues her fine run of form, beating the 2nd seed relatively comfortably, and making the semis

Both players are through to the semis in the doubles

Further joy in the doubles as both Rhys and Daniella make the finals. Dani is playing with a star 13 year old from the Mouratoglou Academy

Bizarrely on the link above Dani's match score is shown fitfully, but with stream of a boys match. According to the score caption (court 3) Dani has the first set 6-2 and they are 2-2 in the second

I'm not familiar with what Dani looks like but I think it was actually Dani's match. Her opponent was dressed in boys kit. Scrolling back through the stream the scoring stopped at 2-2 in the second. Playing the stream on Dani won, but couldn't hear the score.

....and won pretty quickly 6-2 7-5 according to ITF (the lack of matching between caption score and what was transpiring on court in the 2 minutes I watched was a factor in not believing that it could have been Dani's match) .  The match to decide her opponent is currently in the final set, and the doubles finals are on the other two courts

Both doubles pairs lost in match tiebreaks. While watching a few minutes I discovered the cause for the different scenarios encountered earlier for Lambda and myself. The stream cut away for a few minutes to a boys match (probably from a previous day) while I was watching (they did something similar during the boys doubles, moving to a few minutes of an earlier singles match) and returned soon afterwards to the girls match which Lambda saw.

In her first J200 final Dani takes on the top seed, who she edged out last month, albeit first match after Blazkova had reached her first J300 final. Tomorrow's final is at 8am GMT for anyone wanting to watch the admittedly poor quality stream (court 2)

Boys Doubles F

(2) Gunzinger/Hunziker (SUI) d. (1) Lawlor/Reisach (GBR/GER) 7-5 2-6 [10-8]

Girls SF

Daniella Britton d. Michelle Khomich (GER) 6-2 7-5

F

(1) Klara Blazkova (CZE) v Daniella Britton

Doubles F

(3) Bonetti/Manta (SUI) v (4) Anikina/Britton (EST/GBR) 7-5 6-7(6) [10-5]

For anyone interested Dani has just served for the match twice at 6-2 5-4 and 6-5 but they are now into a second set tiebreak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36YTd8kEDyU
