This looks like Kylie's first pro event. She has barely won any low level Junior matches and tennisrecruiting shows her as the 30th ranked American in the class of 2026.

It will be an achievement for Ella to get here.
According to Rome2Rio It's 6 hours to fly from Baton Rouge to San Diego with a change in Dallas Fort Worth. It doesn't look like there were any flights after her match yesterday so an early flight to get there today. with the weather in the US there will inevitably be flight delays. The 2 hour time difference will help. She ( and her team mate) are scheduled last on cout.

This W100 is so much weaker than the one in the UAE. Maybe next year our players should take a more 'scenic' route home and incorporate this one into the journey instead.

Katie could play 2 former top 100 players in the first 2 rounds. Her doubles partner Kayla Day in R1 and then possibly Jennifer Brady making her return to tennis with her first event since 2023 in R2.
