Congratulations to Neal and Christian!

After coming so close twice last year, lovely for Neal to be a Grand Slam champion again!

Neal and Christian win 7-6 (4), 6-4

A bit nervy at the end but they closed it out

Well done to the both of them - augurs well for the year ahead

Good crowd too

What a treat to have been there, but you must be exhausted.

Top 3 in the rankings are from GB and 5 in top 10. Neal will be World no.1 again

Delighted for Neal. Must have been unsure how this season would go after Joe decided he needed some time off.

Excellent - managed to watch the second set. Some amazing rallies, such quick reactions. Brilliant Neal and Christian.

How many GS titles has Neal now won ? I know there are a couple of Mixed in with a few Men's doubles.

Has any other GB player won more Slam titles in recent times ?

Report on the match on the ATP site.  Both players very complimentary about one another.

According to wiki this is only his second mens doubles slam title after Wimbledon 23. Hes won two Wimbledon mixed, in 21 and 22. Jamie Murray has 7 slams, Joe Salisbury has 6 (mens and mixed in both cases).

So. Not as you might have remembered!

Four, I think:  two men's (Wimbledon in 2023 + the AO) & two mixed (Wimbledon in 2021 & 2022).
