Entry Week 5 - 02/02/2026

Ranah into the main draw in Sheffield. Millie is now top of the qualifying list so will also get in (either as an SE or in one of the SE spots). Plenty of Brits in the alt list.

6 direct and 4 WC - no idea why Sheffield is much weaker than Birmingham.
Take out the wildcards & SE and at least 4 more GB players in qualifying plus wildcards.

This is why weak 35ks in the UK are so important to GB players. I still think there is a need on the women's side to put 15k on - primarily to save the costs of flights and hotels in Tunisia, Egypt or Turkey.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's cheaper to go to those places and stay. Factor in train fare and accommodation in the UK and it's pretty pricey.  Also in the winter it would have to be indoors so the tournament itself isn't cheap to run.

You can pick up flights pretty cheaply these days.  I've been taking daytrips to Spain this Winter, it's working out cheaper than a day trip into London and I live in zone 6.

This person has tried to build a site where ATP, WTA, ITF entry lists is all in one place.

He's said it's new and still working stuff out and not sure how much of his life can be devoted to it.

Certainly far from perfect, for some reason it has Hannah Klugman in Brisbane in this week 5, but something to keep an eye on.

Good stuff, when is the cut off for Billy being in qualies or main draw?
